Evaluation of socio-economic and cultural tendency couples to family planning: A case study referring to the city Aran and Bidgol Health Network

The importance and necessity of cooperation and willingness of couples to family planning issues are significant and important roles that have always been considered And on this basis we can say that the success of family planning programs directly depends on the attitudes and behavior of couples in this regard. The present study investigates the socio-economic, cultural, couples tend to be associated with family planning in the city is the Aran Bidgol. The population of 81,459 people, with a sample size of 382 patients were selected using random sampling method is studied. Research methods and techniques to gather information through a questionnaire survey was conducted. The sample size was calculated using formula Cochran, 382 patients were evaluated in different areas of the city and complete. The theoretical framework used in this study, the economic theory is a theory of social action and Talcott Parsons. This study has also been hypothesized that after 14 tests 8 and 6 confirm the hypothesis is refuted.
Results indicate a significant relationship between the level of education, employment, income, sexual preference, social class, attitudes towards children, media, and easy access to contraceptives by married couples tend to family planning there. Also between age, age at marriage, age difference couples, number of children, religious values and equality in decision-making by couples on family planning tend to be statistically significant relationship was found.
The results of stepwise multiple regressions that is done, the five variables of income, access to contraceptives, social class, occupation and sexual preference have the greatest variance in the dependent variables and the sum of these five variables 19/2% of couples want to have to explain to family planning.
